Starting from April 1st, 2012, CalPlug will focus on five concentrated areas over 18 months to deliver substantial solutions for efficient STBs. We are calling out for champions from our government, industry and institution partners to collaborate on the following action items:
1. Standard terminologies, labeling and testing recommendations for STB power modes
2. STB power testing and analysis
3. Sleep function with fast recovery and conditional access
4. Consumer behavior studies
5. Beyond STBs: additional functions
